torque created by 1st 40kg boy = force × perpendicular distance
so, torque 1 = mg×4.5
= 40×10×4.5 (g = 10)
=. 1800 newton- meter
torque by 2nd boy = 50×10×1.5

=. 750 NM
now , needed torque to balance = 1050nm
so, 1050= 35×10×distace
105/35 = distance
3 meter answer
so, the 3rd boy must sits 3m away from center of gravity at the side of 2nd boy (,50kg)
