let common ratio= x
here, 25x+17x+12x = 540
54x = 540
x= 540/54
x= 10

Side1 = 25X10 = 250
Side2 = 17X10 = 170
Side3 = 12X10 = 120

Field is in shape of triangle
so area of triangle by herone's formula is
√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
here s = 540/2
s = 270

so,put in formula
√270(270-250)(270-170)(270-120)
ANS = 4,929,503.02cm^2

The sides of a triangle are in the ratio 25 : 17 : 12

Let the sides of a triangle are a = 25 x, b = 17 x and c = 12 x say

perimeter =25=a+b+c=540cm

X=10cm

The sides of a triangle are a = 250 cm, b = 170 cm and c = 120 cm

now s=a+b+c/2

s=270cm

Now by herons formula we get

area =√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

area =9000cm^2 or 900m^2.

Hope it is helpful to you.
