it is given that

4(a+3d)= 9(a+8d)

it will be ..

4a+12d=9a+72d

-5a=60d

we will find the value of d as

d= -5a/60

then,

13(a+12(-5a/60)

13(a-a)

=0

.... hence the 13(13th) term of the ap is zero
