Hey friend here is your answer.....

Solution :-

Given :

a = 15 cm , b = 10 cm , Area = 100 sq.cm.

Area of the trapezium = 100

 \frac{1}{2}  \times \: (a + b) \:  =  \: 100

 \frac{1}{2}  \times h \times (15 + 10) \:  =  \: 100

h \times 25 = 200

h =  \frac{200}{25}  = 8

Therefore the distance between the parallel sides = 8 cm .

Hope it helps you.....

Heya!!

_____________________________________

Given,

➡️Two parallel sides

  • a = 15 cm
  • b = 10 cm

➡️ Area = 100 sq.cm.

To Find:-

▶️Distance between the parallel sides.

Calculations:-

Area of trapezium = 100

\frac{1}{2} × some of parallel sides × height=100

 \frac{1}{2  }  \times (a + b)×h = 100

 \frac{1}{2}  \times h \times (15 + 10) = 100

h×25=100×2

h × 25 = 200

h =  \frac{200}{25}

h =8

Therefore the distance between the parallel sides = 8 cm .
