co-officient of x* in

 {2x}^{2} + 7x + 3

is 2

Additional information :-

  • A coefficient is a multiplicative factor in some term of a polynomial, a series, or any expression
  • It is usually a number, but may be any expression.
  • The variables appearing in the coefficients are often called parameters, and must be clearly distinguished from the other variables.

Some Formula :-

  • (a + b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2

  • (a – b)^2 = a^2 – 2ab + b^2

  • (a + b) (a – b) = a^2 -b^2

  • (x + a) (x + b) = x^2 + (a + b) x + ab

  • (x + a) (x – b) = x^2 + (a – b) x – ab

  • (x – a) (x + b) = x^2 + (b – a) x – ab

  • (x – a) (x – b) = x^2 – (a + b) x + ab

  • (a + b)^3 = a^3 + b^3 + 3ab (a + b)

  • (a – b)^3 = a^3 – b^3 – 3ab (a – b)

  • (x + y + z)^2 = x^2 + y^2 + z^2 + 2xy +2yz + 2xz

  • 2 + 2xy +2yz + 2xz(x + y – z)^2 = x^2 + y^2 + z^2 + 2xy – 2yz – 2xz

  • 2 + 2xy – 2yz – 2xz(x – y + z)^2 = x^2 + y^2 + z^2 – 2xy – 2yz + 2xz

  • 2 – 2xy – 2yz + 2xz(x – y – z)^2 = x^2 + y^2 + z^2 – 2xy + 2yz – 2xz

  • 2 – 2xy + 2yz – 2xzx^3 + y^3 + z^3 – 3xyz = (x + y + z) (x2 + y2 + z2 – xy – yz -xz)
