Answer:
She thinks that he is “as fair / As any comer I have look'd on yet,” meaning she admires him as much as any suitor she's met so far. “Fair” also signifies beauty and a light color, suggesting he is as handsome as her other suitors. However, Portia is both honest and disingenuous in this statement.
Explanation:
hello I hope my answer will help
When Portia said "as fair as any comer I have look'd on yet" she meant that Prince of Morocco is as good or "fair" as the other suitors she met yet. Prince of Morocco took this ambiguous statement as a compliment and further boasted about his valour and achievements. However, we know what she really meant since we are following the play so far. In act 1 Scene 2, we saw Portia complaining about the suitors and hearing anything but positive remarks about them from her mouth. So she clearly thought the same of Morocco but decided to be polite and insulted Morocco right in his face without even letting know about.
I wrote the answer in a rush so just add a few more adjectives to make the answer appealing and it will create a good impression ig. You can also rewrite the whole thing in a more organised way.
