we know speed = distance/time
so you need to find the distance travelled in the time interval given.
(i) speed for 0 to 5 sec= (3-0)/(5-0)
=3/5=0.6m/s
(ii)the body doesn't move as no distance is covered between the time interval 5 to 7 sec
so speed = 0/(7-5)=0/2=0m/s
(iii) similarly,
speed = (7-3)/(9-7)
= 4/2
=2m/s

Alright the body starts moving from rest. Andnthr first point is A (5,3) that is 3meters in 5 seconds thus the speed of the object from origin to A is s=d/t = 3/5= 0.6m/s
Now there is no change in y axis, that is the distance increase no more or we can say the body comes to rest. Then the speed from A to B is d/t= 0/7=0m/s
From B body moves 4m in just 2 seconds. Thus the speed , s= d/t = 4/2=2m/s.
Hope you got it now.
