Degree of divisor = 1

Remainder, r(x) = x-1

Degree of remainder = 1

But according to division rule,

r(x) = 0

Or

Degree r(x) (remainder) < Degree of g(x) (divisor)

Which is not so in this case. (Here Degree of r(x) = Degree if g(x) which is not possible)

Hence, condition not possible.
