Space has neither air nor dust particles. And when colour falls on dust particles present in air, it refracts and gives out different types of Colours. And as space has neither of them, it is dark in colour or no colour at all.

Hello!!!

Our sky appears blue because of ATMOSPHERIC REFRACTION but at such height ( space ) there is no atmosphere so, atmospheric refraction will not take place. As a result SPACE IS BLACK IN COLOR.
