hi guys.....

Helium gas with a volume of 2.61 m³, under a pressure of 1.3 atm. and at a temperature of 41.0°C is warmed until both

pressure and volume are doubled
(i) what is the final

temperature?

Answer:

we know that formula PV=nRT

In first case P1,V1,T1 and second case

P and V are doubled P2=2P1 nd V2=2V1

and T2 By using formula

P1V1/T1=P2V2/T2 WE GET FINAL TEMP T2= 164°C OR 1256K

2) BY FIRMULA PV=nRT

ON SUBSTITUTE WE GET (n=weight/ Gram molecular weight)

therefore0.524449 OR 0.525
