hi guys i have a question with our future astrophysicist and cosmologists

when light travel in tremendous speed of around 3lakh km per second so why is it mass less why light is not a matter why it don't have any mass because according to the definition of mass it is the total energy presents in a matter and by the famous equation of Einstein E=mc^2 light must transformed into mass so tell me reason why it doesn't happens in our concious universe

Light is both a particle and a wave. It has property of both a particle and a electromagnetic waves but not all the properties of either.

It consists of photons that travel in a wave like pattern.__________________
