If the mass & velocity of a body is doubled, then what will be the change of Kinetic energy of the body ?

Explanation:

initial KEi=1/2mv²

new mass

m'=2m

new velocity

v'=2v

new KEf=1/2m'v'²

=1/2*2m*4v²

=8*1/2mv²

=8*KEi

therefore the KE becomes 8 time the original value
