How amoeba obtains food ?

Amoeba is an irregularly shaped organism.

It creates a false leg called pseudopodia.

Then it grabs and engulfs the prey using the false leg.

This process is called phagocytosis.

Then a food vacuole is formed within the amoeba.

This way amoeba obtains food.
