Answer:

Total number of free time = T = 3 hours

Time spend on home work = t_1t1 = 45 minutes

Time spend on games = t_2t2 = 112 minutes

To Find :

How much free time was left

Solution :

Let The hours of free time left = t_3t3 hours

∵ Total number of free time = Time spend on home work + Time spend on games + The hours of free time left

Or,   T = t_1 + t_2 + t_3t1+t2+t3

Or,   t_3t3  = T - ( t_1 + t_2t1+t2 )

Or,   t_3t3  = 3 hours - ( 45 min + 112 min )

Or,   t_3t3  = 3 hours - ( 157 min )

Or,   t_3t3  = 3 × 60 min - 157 min                              ( ∵ 1 hours = 60 min )

Or,   t_3t3  = 180 min - 157 min

∴      t_3t3  = 23 min

Hence, The free time that was left with Mohan is 23 minutes   Answer
