hi,i am confused the direction of force acting on the electron will be out of the page and according to the left hand rule. but answer is "into the page".
can anybody explain it?

It's into the page.... I think u r using right hand rule instead of left hand rule....plz try again...see.. The electron is moving in downward direction.. Which means the current is in upward direction... Use left hand rule now and try again... All the best... Hope it helps.. :)
