Hi dear

Heart is a hollow and muscular organ that pumps blood throughout our body. It is located in the middle of the chest. It has four chambers namely left and right atria and right and left ventricles. The approximate heart beat is 72 times per minute. With the average heart beat the heart pumps 10 liters of blood per minute. A double walled sac called pericardium encases the heart and serves to protect it. The outer wall of the heart consists of three layers namely epicardium, pericardium and myocardium. The heart circulates the blood in two pathways called pulmonary circuit and systemic circuit. Unlike the other organs the heart also contracts and relaxes.

Hope this helps!!
