No. Of passengers= 150

Sorry , no. Of passengers is 125

2/5th of passengers leave the train. So ,2/5of 150 is 60. 150-60=90. So 90 passengers are in the train. Now 35 passengers board the train . So 90+35=125. Therefore no. Of passengers in the train when it leaves 5he station is 125.

Answer: Hey mate, the answer is as follows.

Total no. Of passengers in train=150

No of passengers who left the train on station=2/5 of 150

= 2/5*150= 60 passengers.

Now passengers left in the train =150-60= 90.

It is also given that 35 passengers enter the train.

So total no of passengers in train when it leaves the station = 90+35 = 125.

Hope it helps.
