The property due to which it opposes the flow of current through it is called resistance.

R=V/I

the resistance of a conductor depends on length ,thickness ,nature of material and temperature of the conductor.

the SI unit of resistance is Ohm.

Resistance (R) is a property of a material used for describing the opposition provided to the flow of current. The higher the resistance provided by a material, the lower the flow of electrons or current through the material.

Its unit is ohm (Ω). Named after Georg Simon Ohm (1784-1854), a German physicist who studied the relationship between voltage, current and resistance.

Value can be calculated by the formula of ohms law: V=IR

R=V/I

OR

R=pl/a

R=resistance

P=resistivity (unit is ohm metre)

L=length

A=area.

Hope it helps.....
