(5)^2x-1 - (5)^2(x-1) = 2500

(5)^2x-1 - (5)^2x-2 = 2500

(5)^2x-1 (5-1) = 2500 ( taking (5)^2x-1 as common )

4 × (5)^2x-2 = 2500

(5)^2x-2 = 2500/4

(5)^2x-2 = 625

(5)^2x-2 = 5^4

2x-2 = 4

2x = 6

Hence, x = 3
