It has disadvantages as follows:-

1. Like it is connected horizontally, so the current has only one path to go.... If at home, we want to turn on 1 electric appliance, due to series all other appliances will also turn on....

2. If any one electric appliance breaks or don't get the current, all other will not work due to incomplete circuit as current have only one path to go in the series combination....
