8x + 4 ,6x-2 , 2x+7 are in AP

their common difference is same

6x-2-(8x+4)= 2x+7-(6x-2)

6x-2-8x-4 = 2x+ 7-6x+2

-2x-6=-4x+9
-2x+4x = 9+6
2x = 15
x = 15/2

x = 7.5

where comman difference =t2-t1
d1=6x-2-8x-4
d1= -2x-6
d2=2x+7-6x+2
d2= -4x+9
d1=d2
-2x-6=-4x+9
-2x+4x=9+6
2x=15
x=15/2
