Rohan works in an organised sector In contrast, Sumit works in the unorganised sector.

Organised sector covers the Enterprises or workplaces having regular terms of employment thus people having assured work. This sector is properly registered with the government and has certain rules and regulations to follow.

Benefits of organised sector:

1.Workers enjoys security of employment.

2. They are expected to work only for a fixed number of hours.

3. They get benefits such as provident fund, gratuity, paid leave, payment during holidays etc.

Unorganised sector comprises of small and scattered Units that do not work under the control of the government.

Drawbacks In an unorganised sector :

1.Jobs in the unorganised sector are low paid and often irregular.

2. There is no provision for paid leave, overtime, holidays, leave due to sickness, etc.

3. There is no security of employment in this sector. People may be asked to leave anytime without any reason.

4. There are certain rules and regulation in the unorganised sector but these are not followed.

OR

Reema works in Secondary or Manufacturing Sector whereas Shirin works in the Tertiary or Service Sector.

Secondary sector mainly includes services such as manufacturing, construction, gas, water, electricity supply, etc. Secondary sector employs less than half of the working population. It produced more than half of the total country's output. Secondary sector is also called industrial sector. This sector covers activities in which natural products are changed into other forms by various ways of manufacturing.

Industrial sector provides large scale employment and helps in earning huge revenue. It helps in the development of a nation.

Tertiary sector :

The tertiary sector support the production process in the primary or secondary sectors. It is the service sector that acts as a link between Producers and the consumer. This sector involved in the production of services rather than goods. This sector does not produce goods by itself but supports the production process. Among the various sub sectors of tertiary sector, trade, hotels, transport and communication services continue to lead by double-digit rates. This sector is playing a significant role in GDP growth but it is also increasing inequalities among the people.

For example: Steel produced in a steel factory has to move a long distance all over the country sometime across the world. It is possible only by building a strong network of tertiary sector activities such a transportation, communication, etc.
