Hey there !!

▶Given :-

→ PQR is a right angle triangle .

→ Right angle at p .

→ PM  \perp QR .

▶ To prove :-

→ PM² = QM • MR .

▶ Solution :-

We know that :

If a perpendicular is drawn from the vertex of the right angle of a right triangle to the hypotenuse then the triangles on both sides of the perpendicular and similar to the whole triangle and also to each other.

 \sf \therefore  \triangle PQM \sim \triangle RPM. \\  \\  \sf  \implies \frac{PM}{MR}   =  \frac{QM}{PM} . \\  \\    \boxed{\boxed{ \green{ \sf \implies {PM}^{2}  = QM.MR \: .}}}

✔✔ Hence, it is proved ✅✅.
