perimeter of rhombus is same as the perimeter of a square.

as we know that the Length of the sides of a square are equal, similarly the Length of the sides of a rhombus are equal.

a rhombus has four equal sides.

therefore formula of perimeter of a rhombus = 4 × side

or it can be solved like this = side + side + side + side

for example :-

find the perimeter of a rhombus whose side is 10cm.

we know the formula for finding the perimeter of a rhombus, that is 4 × side or side + side + side + side

therefore it's perimeter = 4 × side

= 4 × 10

= 40cm

by another method = side + side + side + side

= 10 + 10 + 10 + 10

= 40cm

hence, the perimeter of the rhombus is 40cm.

by this methods, u can find the perimeter of a rhombus easily. and according to me, 4 × side formula is easier.
