By above we get,

AC = hypotenuse = 25units

BC = side opposite to ∠∅ = 24units

By applying Pythagoras theorem we get

AB = side adjacent to angle theta = 7units

Now we have,

cos∅ = side adjacent to ∠∅/hypotenuse

cos∅= 7/25


tan∅ = side opposite to ∠∅/side adjacent to ∠∅


Hence cos(theta) = 7/25

and tan(theta) = 24/25
