Hi users! solve ⤵

A stone dropped from the top of a tower takes 3 second to just reach the ground. Find the height of the tower. g = 9.8 m/s²

Initial Velocity = u = 0

Acceleration = g = 9.8 m/s²

Time = t = 3 s

Let the height = h

s = it+½ at²

h = ½gt²

h = ½×9.8×3³

= 44.1 m

The required height is 44.1 m

USING KINEMATICS EQUATION :

s = ut + 1 \div 2 \: at ^{2}

s =1/2 ( 9.8 ) 3^2

s = 1/2 (9.8) 9

s = 44.1

SO HEIGHT OF THE TOWER IS 44.1 m
