Hey

Here are your answers ↓↓↓

# The first answer is :-

The name " Earth " was given to the Earth by a group of scientists and philosophers .

And basically , the names of each and every thing of this universe is given by " International Research Association " .

So , the Earth was named so .

# Coming to your second answer :-

These names are given on the basis of the names of the Greek Gods .

All the planets of our our solar system of Milky way galaxy have the name which is the name of Greek gods .

Like as :-

Venus = Greek god of Love

Mars = Greek god of War

And the legend William Shakespeare used these names in his writings .

# Your third answer is :-

Earth is exception in the names given to all the planets because , the name " Earth " don't have any Greek meaning . It is the only planet whose name is not of Greek meaning , instead it's name was given by Indian philosopher and has an indian meaning .

So , Earth is an exception .

Hope it cleared your dilemma .

thanks :)

The answer is, we don't know. The name "Earth" is derived from both English and German words, 'eor(th)e/ertha' and 'erde', respectively, which mean ground. But, the handle's creator is unknown. One interesting fact about its name: Earth is the only planet that wasn't named after a Greek or Roman god or goddess.

Hope it helps..........
