Archimedes principal state that's the upward bouant Force that is exerted on a body immersed in a liquid.

Archimedes Principal:
When an object is wholly or partially immersed in a liquid,it experiences a buouant force or upthrust which is equal to the weight of liquid displaced by the object.
Buoyant force acting on an object=weight of liquid displaced by that object.
