Usually people watch plastic waste as a nuisance however one man Prof. Vasudevan, the plastic man of India, appreciated the good in plastic and made it suitable to be used in the construction of roads.

The process is very simple in which first the plastic waste is shredded using a machine and then added to a heated mixture of aggregate and bitumen.

It is important to monitor the temperature as it will help in better binding.

In about 30 to 60 seconds the plastic is completely mixed with the mixture and is then used on roads for construction.
