Hydrochloric acids are formed in our stomach to digest food. This acid is secreted by the inner layer of the stomach and helps in dissolving food and making it acidic and easy for further digestion.

Thus HCl so formed are helpful and necessary but if it is excess and is causing acidity then by using ANTACIDS we can stabilise it's effect and can get relief .
