The changes introduced by the Bolsheviks after October Revolution (1917) are: -
(a) Banks were nationalized as it would greatly facilitate the simultaneous nationalization of the insurance business, i.e., the amalgamation of all the insurance companies into one, the centralization of their operations, and state control over them.
(b) Land was declared social property and peasants were allowed to seize the land of the nobility. In cities, Bolsheviks enforced the partition of large houses according to family requirements.
(c) Bolsheviks also banned the use of the old titles of aristocracy.
