Present age of Shaloo and Preeti are in ratio5:4
5 years from now the ratio of their ages will be 6:5 Find their ages​

Solution:

Let present age of Shaloo be 5x years

Let present age of Preeti be 4x years

After 5 years,

Age of Shaloo = (5x+5) years

Age of Preeti = (4x+5) years

A/Q

$\frac{5x + 5}{4x + 5} = \frac{6}{5}$

$5(5x + 5) = 6(4x + 5)$

$25x + 25 = 24x + 30$

$25x - 24x = 30 - 25$

$x = 5$

Hence,

Shaloo's age = 5x = 5*5 = 25 years

Preeti's age = 4x = 5*4 = 20 years
