Absolute humidity is the mass of water vapor divided by a unit volume of air (grams of water/cm3 of air). Relative humidity is the amount of water vapor present in the air divided by the maximum amount that the air could contain at that temperature.

Absolute humidity is the measure of water vapor (moisture) in the air, regardless of temperature. It is expressed as grams of moisture per cubic meter of air (g/m3). ... Relative humidity also measures water vapor but RELATIVE to the temperature of the air.
