Hii friends plz tell me how does the humidity effect on the rate of evaporation

Heyyy!
Rate of evaporation decreases as the humidity in the environment increases

Because .....the air is already having high content of H2O molecules......which are to be evaporated.

it will decrease the rate of evaporation, as humidity is the amount of water vapour in the air .the air around us cannot hold more than a definite amount of water vapour . if the rate of humidity is more then the rate of evaporation will be less                                                                                                                                  I hope this helps u
