so r =84/2= 42 cm
and length = h = 120 cm
1 revolution = curved surface area of cylinder
= 2 pie r h
= 2 × 22/7 × 42 × 120
= 44× 6× 120
=31680cm2
= 31680÷10000
=3.168 m2
so 500 revolution = 500× 3.168
= 1584 m2
Hence the area of playground = 1584 m2
