Hii guys...
Can you tell me that... If the outermost shell of an electron can hold 2n² electrons then why we write only 8 electrons in electronic configuration..??​

 {2n}^{2}

electrons then we write only 8 because when we write the electronic configuration of an atom like Krypton its not possible that we use this formula to know the valence electrons of Krypton so we use the subshells when u reach higher standard u will learn about subshells after 20th element the next atom first fills the subshell then the shells. so we write that the last shell can contain 8 electrons totally.
