Actually this so simple.
as we know that the body starts it motion when the force is exerted on it. so here force is gravitational force and acceleration is g.
so we may write eq. as following.
s=ut-gt²/2
v=u-gt
v²=u²-2gs
here we take - g as accl. if object is going upward otherwise only g.
