I give a novel or two a chance from time to time. Most books I read are non-fiction because I find fiction often disappointing. It’s hard to know from reviews and/or popularity if I will like a fiction book. It’s just a gamble really.
But with this one it paid of. I loved the book so much. Not even for its content although it’s a good story and I enjoyed it but the writing is so compelling and beautifully inviting. I love it when an author can write so well it seems effortless but if I ever tried it I’d be sweating blood. 
A beautiful book. I’m glad I gave it a chance.
