Q. A few drops of etanoic acid were added to Solid Sodium Carbonate. The Observation made is that :-

( a ) A hissing sound was produced.

( b ) Brown fumes evolved.

( c ) Brisk effervescence occurred.

( d ) A pungent smelling gas is evolved.

Coz , When any reaction occur between carbonate and Acid CO2 is formed .

CO2 is formed with brisk effervescence
