Kingdom Plantae:

1. All organims under this kingdom have chloroplasts which are photosynthetic organelles.

2. In the trophic level (food chain/food web), these organisms are considered as primary producers.

3. Angiosperms or flowering plants comprise the greatest number of plants in Kingdom Plantae wherein the success of flowering plants is related to their mutualistic relationship with insects.

4. The simplest land plants are the mosses or bryophytes.

5. Plants follow alternation of generation wherein they have a gametophyte life stage and a sporophyte life stage.

Kingdom Animalia

1. Organisms under this kingdom are called consumers in the trophic level (food web or food chain).

2. They lack chloroplast so they are not able to synthesize their own food. These animals therefore may feed on producers as herbivores, feed on other animals as carnovires, or feed on remains of other organisms as decomposers.

3. This organisms in this kingdom are mainly divided based on the presence of a vertebraeVertebrates such as crocodiles and invertebrates such as crabs.

4. In embryonic development, organisms under this kingdom form a blastula after fertilization.

5. Their cells have no cell walls.
