♠ VEDIC MATHS ♠

=> ' Swami Bharati Krishna Tirthaji Maharaj ' is the founder of Vedic maths .

=> He gave 16 Sutras ( rules ) and 13 sub Sutras in Vedic Mathematics .

=> By vedic Maths some long calculations become easy and we can solve questions in less time by using vedic mathematics .

------------------

♦ 16 Sutras of Vedic Mathematics ♦

1.) Ekadhikena Purvena

2.) Nikhilam Navatascharmam Dasatah

3.) Paravartya Yojayet

4.) Urdhva Tiryagbhyam

5.) Sunyam Sayasamuccaye

6.) Sankalana Vyavakalanabhyam

7.) Yavadunam

8.) Vyasti Samashti

9.) Gunita Samuccayah

10.) Gunaka Samuccayaha

11.) Eknyunena Purvena

12.) Sesanyankena Caramena

13.) Puma Puranabhyam

14.) Calan Kalanabhyam

I don't know about other 2

♦ There are also 13 Sub Sutras of vedic Mathematics ♦

1.) Anurupyena

2.) Sisyate Sesasmjnah

3.) Vestanam

4.) Vilokanam

5.) Antyayoreva

6.) Adymadye Nantyamantyena

7.) Samuccayah Gunitah

8.) Antyayordasakepi

sry others i don't know .

★ ** APPLICATIONS ** ★

(( i don't know much detail ))*

• About some Specefic Sutras •

➡1.) Sutra Ekadhikena Purvena

By this method we can solve Addition ,, Subtraction ,, Multiplication operations easily .

=> Sutra based method is most effective in all type of problems in addition operation .

Method => I think we have to arrange the given number column wise ,, and then start adding from column of one's downward .

** Whenever in addition process ,, the value greater than 9 is obtained carry forward value and that value is marked by dot ( . ) above the left side digit .
..........

★ Process of Multiplication .

=> In this ,, Ones digit of a number is called " Charamam Digit " and the remaining digits are called " Nikhilam Digit "

For eg.)) number 523 has Charamam digit ' 3 ' and remaining 5 , 2 are Nikhilam digits .

Method

=> There are 2 sides in the process of multiplication i.e Left hand side and Right hand side .

=> Product of Charamam digits and of remaining digits is written on right side

=> The product of Nikhilam digits and it's one more is written to the left side .

=> Double digits to the zeros in the sum of Charamam digits are written in the right hand side .
................

➡ 2.) Sutra Nikhilam Navatascharmam Dasatah .

* Multiplication ( Sutra Nikhilam ― Base )

=> Ex .)) Multiply 12 × 14

Sol.) => 12 × 14 ( in base 10 )
12+ 2
14 + 2
=============
= 14 + 2 / 2 × 4
=> 16 / 8

=> 168 •
