Himalayas are 6000m, if 1C = 156 m what will be the temperature of Himalayas ?

I am not sure if you are asking for the range of the temperature of the Himalayas, or the temperature at the highest point. I'll answer both

It is given that for an increase in  metres in altitude, there is a decrease of the temperature by 1°C

So since the Himalayas is 6000m tall, the difference between the temperature at the bottom and at the summit

=> 6000 / 156 = 38.462

Or nearly a difference of 38.5°C

If we assume the temperature at the bottom of the mountain to be T °C,

the temperature at the summit will be T - 38.5 °C
