Historical monuments which were built by the emperors' long time ago are being vandalized by people of these days. Historical monuments were built with their hard work and love in dedication to something. Like Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan for his wife, but is being destroyed by people who visit it nowadays as they carve pictures on the monument or write on these historical monuments.

This defacing of historical monuments is a growing trend amongst the new generation laila-majnu!Tourists or visitors also steal the gems which are stuck on the monuments for a specific purpose. If it is done in the future then the historical monuments are of no use to anyone. These monuments are of great value as they remind us what our culture was few decades back.

This helps visitors whether inbound or outbound to understand our culture better. It is believed that tourist spots in our country can generate the highest economy to us. Thus we are spoiling our own resources from which we can benefit. Monuments whether big or small are made possible only by the money invested in them.

Kings in ancient times believed that by building such monuments they will be able to reach out to god better. There are lots of tourist spots but all these spots are not properly maintained. One visit to any tourist spot would make us realize how we have wronged our ancestors by destroying all their dedication and hard work.

Historical monuments are the link between today's world and yesteryear's world therefore it is our job to protect them as the people who built it cannot come from their graves to safeguard the places that they had fondly built. So all join hands and say no to deface of these treasures of India.
