A visit to an ancient time

“All monuments are preserved in the mind as memories.”
The History Society of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Krishna Nagar had gone on a tour to visit a historical site. We were amazed by the beauty that had withstood such destruction of time. The passing simple moments of the past could be felt just by being near the monument, being completely immersed in that era. We were also amazed at the carelessness shown by many tourists and even the people that lived there. We had gone there on a learning expedition and got there by our school bus. We were over enjoyed being able to visit such a place.
We have learned that the preservation of our monuments is of the utmost importance and to upkeep this we need to protect our environment as well. A pollution-free environment is what we all need to live on this earth and to upkeep such treasures of time. Even with the advancement of science and technology, our nature is still being depleted every day while most people could care less.
