Take for an example
2x^2, so the differentiation (d2x^2/dx) which means differentiating with respect to dx only then it can be differentiated otherwise if you take like d2x^2/dy it cannot be differentiated with respect to y , for this you have to apply another way which i will tell later below.
Now, d2x^2/dx= 2dx^2/dx =2×2×x=4x { The theory is dx^n/dx (where n is exponent) then it's differentiation will be n × x^(n-1)→ for better understanding see the process in the link below.
Now!! To differentiate with respect to y → d2x^2/dy → see in the link below
