The time period of a simple pendulum is T. The pendulum is charged positively and mede to oscillate while a negatively charged plate is placed below it. The time period of Pendulum is now:

The time period shall decrease..
Opposites attract....so the positively charge pendulum shall be under a greater force due to the negative plate...so the value of 'g' shall also increase...time period varies inversely as the sq. root of 'g',so the time period will decrease..
