I don’t know if you are asking for CBSE or JEE , so I’ll mention both.
For CBSE :
PHYSICS : Do not touch NCERT. Mind you,I said do not. It sucks. You are bound to get confused. First read the theory from NEW SIMPLIFIED PHYSICS (SL ARORA). Do the practice problems. Only after that pick up NCERT and solve back exercises. The questions are good , theory is not.CHEMISTRY: NCERT is the best here. Read theory and solved examples. Then do all the questions given at the back. You may need help for organic chemistry , can do it from any standard reference book(not really required).MATHS: NCERT first. Then RD Sharma (pick questions selectively , its a big book and requires time. Many questions are similar). If you are not preparing for JEE , do not go beyond this book. If you are preparing for JEE , dont do this book until you find time. Before exams , you can purchase Arihant Previous year’s questions for revision. They are really good.
For JEE:
PHYSICS: HC VERMA hands down. After that coaching material/DC PANDEY series/Cengage BM Sharma series. My choice : BM SharmaCHEMISTRY: NCERT is must. After that :
PHYSICAL: RC Mukherjee/ OP Tandon / N Awasthi are really good books. Refer coaching material too for good problems.ORGANIC: Best if understood in class. Still , for self study LG Wade is the best for theory. Do coaching material for problems. If done , then you can try MS Chouhan.INORGANIC: Coaching material is sufficient. VK Jaiswal if you want.
MATHS: Cengage G Tewani series for building your concept from low to high level. Otherwise Arihant series: Amit M Agrawal and SK Goyal + coaching material. My choice : Cengage
Note : Solve coaching material first. After that refer to these books. If you think you are not able to solve coaching material , do the books first. Previous years questions are very important.
