dhwani1324: hey what is factor theorem
dhwani1324: and remainder theorem
Anonymous: in factor theorem we have to put values of x or prove that whether a number is a factor or not.For example....if i say that x-30 is a factor of ______ equation, then (x-30=0),.......(x=30) U will put the value of x in the equation and prove it if the answer is 0,then 30 is a factor otherwise not....but in case of remainder factor theorem we put the values ourselves and see which is a factor. For eg..._______ equation is given 2 u but u don't have the values of x,then u will put the values urself
dhwani1324: thank you

Answer:

Given (x^3)-6(x^2)+11x-6=0

x^3-3x^2-3x^2+11x-6=0

x^2(x-3)-(3x^2-11x+6)=0

x^2(x-3)-(3x^2-9x-2x+6)=0

x^2(x-3)-(3x(x-3)-2(x-3))=0

x^2(x-3)-[(x-3)(3x-2)]=0

(x-3)(x^2-3x+2)=0

(x-3)(x^2-2x-x+2)=0

(x-3)(x(x-2)-1(x-2))=0

(x-3)(x-2)(x-1)=0
