Hello .

Firstly in Triangle OTS and Triangle OQU

Angle O = Angle 0 ( Vertically Opposite angle )

TS = QU ( Midpoint of Square )

angle OTS =angle QUO ( 90 degree each)

Triangle OTS Congruent to OQU. ( AAS criteria)

TO = OU ( By CPCTC)

OQ = Os ( By CPCTC)

O is the midpoint of the square.

Hence ,

By Phythagoras Theorem ,

OS = \sqrt{16+16}

OS = \sqrt{32}.

then ,

QS = \sqrt{32} +\sqrt{32}

QS = \sqrt{64}

QS = 8 cm .
