pseudopodia helps the amoeba in capturing food . when the amoeba approaches any food particle the pseudopodia changes it shape and engulfs the food particle after which the food vacuole present in amoeba digest the food using digestive enzymes present in it and the waste is released out of the amoeba by pseudopodia.
